And just like that, I’m back with a new year of Monday Mindset posts.
Why Monday Mindset?
Because too many people do not look forward to Mondays. I use to be the same way. For me, I didn’t look forward to the weekly routines my life offered me at the time. However, things begin to change when I began to align my life with what God designed for me. Now while I am still not a fan of all the things I have to do and while stepping into Mondays can be rough, I’ve developed a new mindset.
I discipline my mind to see everything I do: job, laundry, cleaning, answering emails, dealing with people etc. as a blessing. I realized it was a way that I could share the light of Christ to my family and others.
Everything you do (even on Mondays) is an act of worship to God.
So this week I want you to:
Dream Again….Believe Again
When you stop dreaming and believing you become unmotivated. You don’t want to do anything and you don’t look forward to anything (especially Mondays). Well my friend, it is time to start dreaming again. What are some things you had a desire to do, create, try? Maybe you need to develop some new dreams. What would you like to see happen in your life?
Dream it. Write it Down. Think on it Often
The more you think about it, the more you will begin to believe it is possible. You’ll desire to do something about it in order to make it happen.
Instead of cursing Monday on Sunday night and telling and/or posting how much you’re not looking forward to it, speak great expectation into it and work hard to keep that same mindset for the rest of the week.
Here’s to a great Monday and a productive week!
